Over the past year, I’ve felt increasingly saturated and numb when I am online. These seem like truly exciting times to be in tech but, at the same time, I have this feeling of depersonalization and dissociation. When the cognitive dissonance inevitably hits, I’m left dispersed and confused. This personal website is meant to be a reflection of myself in an era where individuality seems to be diluted in prompts. It is a place to hold my thoughts, my projects and reflect my philosophy on tech and life.
I wanted this website to be simple, direct and intuitive. The focus of what you see here is always the content and it is a reminder to myself that substance will always trample superficiality. The content here will be fully written by me without AI tools although the work featured here will use them. I will always be honest about how and why I used AI because, to me, these are existential matters. Accountability and responsibility in the era of AI is imperative.
Like many others, I am still figuring out how to use generative AI in a way that amplifies my work but that allows it to be unmistakably mine. The bar is definitely higher and the volume and speed of what we can accomplish will only grow. This is inherently exciting for someone like me, it speaks to my biology. However, it also forces me to think deeply and to be more mindful about what I create. This is my shot.
